Acme Book and Hot Sauce (ABAHS) is the result of years of market research and study (truth in advertising it was more like 20 seconds of brainstorm and 2 years of procrastination). I’m a purveyor of used books (Griffin Books in Stamford CT) and my friend and neighbor makes and sells his own hot sauce (www.stamfordhotsauce.com). The bookstore/coffee shop has been done, but have you ever seen a used book store and hot sauce emporium? I didn’t think so. And so, a new market is pioneered.
I sell all sorts of used books but seem to be drawn to the more unusual and interesting. That is what is going to be presented here. All books are for sale and as I figure out this blog thing, I will hopefully be able to present them in such as way as folks will actually want to buy them.
